The File on Margot Black
This novel-in-progress is a historical noir set in post-World War II Hollywood against the backdrop of the  hearings into film industry subversion by the House un-American Activities Committee. This draft scene features Margot’s meeting with two leading gatekeepers of the blacklist, Dore Schary and Ronald Reagan.
