In summer 2018, to fully celebrate the Year of the Dog, Fi and I took a Really Big Road Trip around the United States. Obliquely inspired by John Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley, we made a big loop through the heart of America, revisiting old stomping grounds – Madison, Binghamton, Chicago – and exploring new territories from the heart of Texas to the witching world of Salem, MA. So, of course, we called it the Heart of America Tour!
